This afternoon CC and myself went to this exhibition where they showcase well preserved body using technique call plastination. The Bodyworld showcase a wide variety of human body in various positions and also their parts. These bodies looks like real flesh and blood and it is not disgusting because, I think, all the body were de-skin so it looks like another species. I would imagine it to be very errie if these bodies has their skin on like real dead bodies.

I also noticed that most of the body donated were male bodies. They all have this very long “string” that extend from their lower adominal to hold the scrotum. I didn’t know that this string are that long?! But my colleague who have seen it says that it could be because they are Caucasian.

For this exhibition they also show case giraffe and horse which, I heard, was previously not shown. All I can say about these animal’s body are that they have every thing big except their brain. In comparison to human brain, we still have a bigger brain than them! But what impresses me most was the complicated network of blood vessels that fill up our body. The network of veins are so dense that no matter where you puncture your body, you’re bound to bleed. Previously I was thinking that we’re a “bag of blood” that’s why we bleed everywhere. Haha now then I can finally visualize what they meant by our blood travel through blood vessels.

It was a tiring, fun, and educational tour.

Went to tenMen club this afternoon. The reason why I revisited this place is to try out their massage. His massage is too gentle for my liking, he looks sulky, average bulky body and with a readily erectible short thin dick. That’s the cool part of being young I guess. And he asked for tip at the end of the session, I’ve no idea how much Yo pay so I asked how much he expected. Though he said any amount, but consider that the massage was rather cheap, about 35 bucks so I gave the guy another 20.

As for the place, it was crowded like crazy! People in every floor. Mostly chubs and their chaser plus a fair bit of uncles. There are some cubs and huge bears too. Didn’t manage to spot any charismatic uncles though. The one whom I made out with likes me but I left him without my contact. I thought I like him but still clueless why I did that to him.

This is an intense experience.

Second day of Chinese new year: it’s peaceful, quiet, 80% of the crowd suddenly disappear to no where. I’m communting to gym now and it’s so peaceful :) no rowdy foreigners, no traffic jam, very few cars on the road….

The school had started and this evening we waited for 45mins before someone called to found that the lecturer wasn’t late but the venue has changed! I check my phone, SMS, email and there wasn’t any hint that they were trying to contact and inform us of the change. Dam piss! My team mate and myself went home instead if continuing to the new lecture room. I wrote an email to the student counter to complaint about this and hopefully the same thing would not happen again.

This afternoon the promotion list was out. Like what my boss promised, he promoted me to an assistant manager. But when I learnt about my increment amount, I started sulking straight away. For a decent company, the promotional increment that I’m getting would be fit for their regular annual increment! All I can say is that the overall increment percentage is low, but I didn’t expect my promotional increment to be that pathetic too.

Class started last night. This term I think I’ll be stuck with a lazy bump, and another rather quiet lad. Hiaz… This sem basically we’ll have to come out with tons of policies for an IT department. How interesting. Hmmm… Anyway this is the my last sem so just gonna bite the bullet and get it over!

Felt kind of bad for skipping the gym yesterday though. But knowing my energy reserve; I don’t think I can last till evening if I go to the gym. ;)

The year started with another round of mad rush. But I’ve managed to spent a few days packing my workstation: filing away dated files and get organize for the new year! Think this year will mark a closer working relationship with one of the subsidiary…

In the mean time, I’m also trying to fullfill my new year resolution and that’s to workout 3 times and in the morning before going to work! ;) this week I’ve managed to sweat out in gym on both Tuesday and Thursday. Working out before work has it’s pros and cons but I like it that at the end of the day I’m able to head home to rest instead of dragging my tired mind and body to the gym. Though I’ve only went for 3 morning-weekdays workout over 2 weeks but I think I’m slowly warming up to it. I’ll persist!

I’m quite surprise that there were quite a lot of users in California gym even wee hours in the morning. I seriously believe that their facilities are fully utilized!

Enrty for January 6, 2010

In my previous post I was saying that I want to start working out regularly. But the problem is that usually after work the gym is always crowded. So to bypass this problem I going to try workout before going to work. So finally I done that!

It was yesterday (Tuesday) when. I reached the gym at 6.25am. I woke up at 5.53 and left the house at 6.05, and caught bus 124 at 6.11am. When I reached the gym, the staff just opened the place, they were late, and there were 5-6 people already!

I started working out at around 6.35am, did a 10mins warm up then off to the free weight area and it felt great to share that area with only just one person! ;) for this training I focus on my weak spots and exploiting the work bench. ;) at around 7.20am (10mins earlier than planned) I wrapped up and hit the shower.

I reached office at around 8.20am so this timing seems good for me. But the problem is that I didn’t stop sweating until I reachd office; I cam never cool down when standing in the train! And secondly working out in the morning fumble my concentration. And maybe I felt tired was because that I was too excited to sleep well the night before ;) nevertheless I’m thinking of trying again tomorrow! But this time round I’ll bring my tees and berms so that I can wear it till I reach office!
